What if the answer
isn't trying harder?
Â
You can work hard,
love deeply, and achieve
the goals and still wonder why something important seems to be missing.
Â
Maybe fulfillment starts
in a place most of us
were never taught to look.
Welcome to
vim & zen.Â
vim & zen begins with the relationship that comes first.Â
The relationship you have with yourself.
Â
The quality of our relationships shapes
the quality of our lives.
Most of us spend our lives learning how to care for others, succeed, and navigate relationships.
Very few of us are taught how to build a healthy relationship with ourselves.
Â
Â
What becomes possible?Â
As we learn to build a healthier relationship with ourselves, we begin to experience the things we've been looking for all along.
• deeper and more authentic relationships
• greater peace and fulfillment
• less loneliness and disconnection
• freedom from old patterns
• the ability to be fully ourselves
• a life that feels more real, meaningful, and connected

Research
For decades, I've immersed myself in the study of
what contributes to a fulfilled life.
Drawing from research
on relationships, attachment,
self-awareness, meaning,
and authentic connection,
I've become increasingly convinced
that the relationship we have with ourselves influences every area of our lives.
ExperienceÂ
Education and research support this work, but real life has been the catalyst for it.
Through my own searching and striving, I've come to understand that knowledge, achievement, and good intentions aren't enough.
And this is what I'm finding: a more authentic, connected, and fulfilling life is possible when we begin in a place most of us were never taught to look.
Â
Â
How could I work so hard at the relationships most important to me, and still feel so much distance?
That question started everything.
vim & zen is the name I gave to what I'm finding.
Current ways to do the work
The ways to engage with vim & zen will evolve, but these are the current opportunities available.
